So 'Why does God Hate Golfers ?", well, I've played a lot of sports and I've never found one where the highs and lows in are such a close proximity to each other. It drives me, and I'd hazard a guess, most other golfers mad.
So a bit about me and this blog.
I'm 42 and started playing this wonderful game just over 2 1/2 years ago, and was instantly bitten by the golfing bug. I guess once I turned 40 it was a given I'd start playing golf :-)
I got my first official handicap, 24, in April 08. Got that down to 20 by the end of the first full season. Then last year things clicked and I got it down to 13.
Over the past few months I've been working with my golf coach on a lot of swing changes in the effort to try to get down to single figures. At the time of writing the chances of that happening are slim to none. If I was a betting man, well I am, I'd say I'll probably be playing of 15 by the end of the season.
So I guess you could say that things ain't going to well.
And that's what this blog is about. Documenting my rise, well fall at the moment, and somewhere for me track my progress and thoughts.
